CCS Lab at ICA26

 

The Cognitive Communication Science Lab is heading to Cape Town, South Africa,  for the annual meeting of the International Communication Association (ICA26, June 4-8). We're giving two presentations, one about high-throughput methods, the other about media selection and mental health. Here's what we're sharing and when to find us.

CCS Lab at Comm Horizons 2026

 

The Cognitive Communication Science Lab is excited to be part of Comm Horizons @ UCD 2026, hosted at UC Davis May 15–17. This year’s conference, Communication in the Age of AI and Algorithms, brings together scholars examining how artificial intelligence and algorithmic systems shape media use, human connection, persuasion, information environments, and everyday social life. We’re sharing work on attention, news selection, high-throughput communication science, and mobile data collection.

CCSL At ICA 2025: See You In Denver!

 

The Cognitive Communication Science Lab is Denver‑bound for the 75th International Communication Association Conference (June 12–16), and this year we’re showcasing three presentations (including one top paper)! Richard Huskey will also be there in his role as Associate Editor for Journal of Communication, so it’s a full slate for the team.
